4. Sacramento Kings

Where to begin….

When DeMarcus Cousins is on your team you know there is going to be some drama, but when it’s just one super-talent with drama then it shouldn’t be too detrimental to the team.

But then the Kings brought in Rajon Rondo and George Karl, and when you mix Cousins, Rondo and Karl, then there’s going to be trouble. Don’t get me wrong, Karl and Rondo have had their respective NBA success, but neither are strangers to controversy.

Last year Rick Carlisle said that he didn’t expect Rondo to return to the Dallas Mavericks next season and shortly after Karl was hired in Sacramento, his best player jumped on the bandwagon of players who had played under Karl calling him a snake.

Top that with recent trade rumors and nobody, including Cousins, has much of an idea about what the plan for the future is in Sacramento.

As for everyone else on the Kings, Rudy Gay can score at will, Ben McLemore is making his way in the league and Marco Belinelli and Kosta Koufos are nice players, but none of them will make a big time difference.

Sacramento will win some exciting games next year and show people what they could be if the puzzle is put together correctly, but a lack of stability and overall talent will be their undoing.

Let me put it this way: if there were ever going to be a locker room brawl in the NBA this season, don’t be too shocked if it comes from Sacramento.

Projected Record: 35-47
