There is no limit to how far the Suns can go this season

The Phoenix Suns continued on their incredible 2025-26 season in style Friday night, as they convincingly beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 126-113 to move to 30 wins on the campaign.

Devin Booker's absence made this win even more impressive, although we had put forward the idea that the tandem of Dillon Brooks and Jalen Green could cook up something special without him.

Suns should not put limits on how this season will end

Phoenix spent the first half of the season being a fun story for the league to check in on every so often. They also immediately accomplished their biggest goal, which was to get the fans back onside.

With that taken care of early thanks to culture changers like Brooks (how can you not love this attitude?), the Suns continued to win games at a pace nobody saw coming.

To be clear, they will not be favored in a first round playoff matchup even if they somehow snag a top four spot for home advantage. Part of their charm is how they play harder than opponents every night of the regular season, which in a lot of ways is the toughest skill of all.

That advantage will be eroded some in a playoff series in which everybody is playing their hardest, but it is still a fantastic spot to be in.

They also have a head coach in Jordan Ott who should be one of the Coach of the Year frontrunners, while Brooks might even sneak into the All-Star game.

Booker might not be having the best year by his standards, but he's hardly been bad either. The franchise even has Green coming back from injury again at a time where it feels like he is a new addition via trade at the deadline.

The Mark Williams move has been a massive success, while Collin Gillespie, Jordan Goodwin and Jamaree Bouyea are all turning in their most productive seasons as professionals.

Even Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale have played their part, ensuring that this roster has something that the ones featuring Kevin Durant could never offer.

That is a superstar, a young and exciting head coach who the team will play for, genuine co-stars in Brooks and Green and depth throughout the roster.

The Suns are playing with house money right now, but in beating two of the best teams in the Eastern Conference consecutively without Booker, the best is quite possibly yet to come. What a ride it has been.
