No matter how the 2025-26 season ends for the Phoenix Suns, this season has been incredibly fun and has seen The Valley come back to support the team in droves.
They are still not getting the love they deserve on a national level, but enough people have now woken up to the fact that this team is straight up good and will make the playoffs.
Number of players having career years in Phoenix
It should come as no surprise to find out that three players on this roster are having career years, which is helping to fuel this incredible run.
Special mention to center Mark Williams as well, who definitely qualifies but if we're being honest who we also don't want to jinx. Just keep appearing in those back-to-backs and we're good Mark.
3. Dillon Brooks
The least surprising player on this list, Dillon Brooks has been everything and more to Phoenix since coming over from the Houston Rockets in the Kevin Durant trade.
We're not even sure what else there is to say about his talents, both on and off the court. Does he toe the line every so often? Absolutely. Can he get a bit reckless out there? For sure.
But Brooks is also the emotional heartbeat of this roster, who clearly loves playing for head coach Jordan Ott and who is also scoring a career high 21.1 points. He is as comfortable being the go to guy on any given night, but can just as easily slot in as the second or third option.
Then there are comments like these about Devin Booker which just shows what a great teammate he is. The vibes are back in Phoenix, and Brooks and he desire to compete every night are a big part of the reason why.
2. Jamaree Bouyea
Where did this guy come from? Is a question you have surely heard Suns fans ask as two-way point guard Jamaree Bouyea continues to provide an oversized contribution to this team.
At 26-years-old the Suns are his sixth team in four seasons, although he has already played more games in Phoenix (24 and counting) than the rest of his career combined (19).

Scoring 7.3 points per night on 34.7 percent shooting from deep on two attempts might not seem like much, until you remember he spends time in the G League and is the Suns' third choice floor general.
He's become so integral to the second unit for how he can hang with bigger players defensively while also keeping the offense on track that the Suns have to figure out a way to bring him back this offseason. One of the finds of the year.
1. Collin Gillespie
Before there was Bouyea, there was Collin Gillespie. Last season he was on a two-way deal, but the timing wasn't right to unleash him full-time on the league.
He certainly took his chances when they came, but it was coach Ott who realized what he had in the 26-year-old. He's started 30-of-49 games and never once looked out of place. He was our first-quarter MVP.
But the best part about a high IQ point guard averaging 13.5 points and 4.6 assists (while shooting a sizzling 43 percent from deep) is not just how he has a positive impact on both ends of the court.
It is how he is just as impactful whether starting or off the bench, and how alongside Brooks he wants to win every possession, every night. Sign this man up long-term because he is already a cult hero in Phoenix.
