Phoenix Suns: Top 5 moments in team history
#1 Barkley’s Playoff Game-Winner
Earlier, this list featured dramatic playoff game-tying shots that, while they sent the game into overtime, still came in games the Phoenix Suns ultimately lost.
Not for #1 on this list.

One of the greatest to ever lace up for the Suns and that year’s MVP, Charles Barkley, hit a game-winner in the 1993 Western Conference Semi-Finals.
This wasn’t a falling-out-bounds-heave like Rex Chapman and it didn’t get coined a clever pun like the shot heard round the world. It was a relatively benign dribble-dribble-dribble pull-up at the top of the key from 20 feet, but it sealed not only the game but also the series against the evil San Antonio Spurs.
Not only was it a dramatic game-winner in the final seconds, he hit it over David Robinson who he had been battling with all series long.
It capped off a tremendous game for the Round Mount of Rebound, as he finished with 28 points, 21 rebounds, and two blocks, and was the most celebratory moment in Phoenix Suns history.
I’m sure you probably disagree with one, two, or five of these moments. As I said, there is far from a consensus on this amongst the fanbase. Hopefully, some better moments are to some for the Suns so we all can finally get some no-brainers on this list.
