One name that has been mentioned recently as possibly  moveable is Jusuf Nurkic. It would take a lot, especially for a team that is slowly crawling up with the Western Conference standings, but once they reach their ceiling, he could potentially be moved for the right, albeit expensive, price.

The Suns don’t have any veterans at center that would help put Portland over the top (although Tyson Chandler would help a lot), and with Alex Len’s impeding unrestricted free agency, his value is about as small as yours or mine in the trade market.

If Portland realized that they still needed more pieces and didn’t want to pay Nurkic, he might be had for a young player and a protected first round pick. Say, Jackson and Miami’s 2018. Maybe even a swap of T.J. Warren and Tyson Chandler for Nurkic and Al-Farouq Aminu.

To be fair, I don’t think that Nurkic is a star (although he would be a nice piece moving forward), nor am I sure that the Suns would want him, but I was trying to at least make something happen here that might be plausible.
