4. Everyone Is Healthy
For a team that went 1-10 over its last 11 games of the 2014-15 season, it’s no surprise that the Suns were one of the most banged up teams in the league down the stretch. Alex Len was dealing with another ankle sprain and then a broken nose, while Brandon Knight was dealing with his own ankle injury that required offseason surgery.
Luckily, it doesn’t appear like any of those injury problems will carry over into the 2015-16 season.

“This summer I never felt like last year, when I was still trying to come to rehab and get healthy,” Alex Len said. “This time I felt great throughout the whole summer, I didn’t get hurt or nothing so I definitely feel like I got better.”
Len, a seemingly injury-prone third-year center who has had some really bad luck with injuries so far in his NBA career, finally got to participate in Summer League for the Suns. He didn’t dominate, but his participation in voluntary workouts can only be a good thing as he develops his relationship with Tyson Chandler.
As for Brandon Knight, he’s been playing for weeks already.
“My health is coming along,” he said. “It’s a progression, but I’ve been feeling a lot better of late. I’ve gotten a chance to play pickup with the guys the last couple of weeks or so, so my health is getting a lot better.”
