Final Thoughts

When the Sun sets (pun intended), the team’s roster could look drastically different in just a year. Whether the team makes a blockbuster deal and acquires a new piece or the team moves on from a few of its veterans in the offseason, there might be some different names to evaluate next year.

Regardless, this team is on the right track in the gradual climb back into the elite ranks of the NBA. It could take a little bit longer, but this team has the pieces to be back in the playoffs as early as this season.

Three years from now, though, we will learn whether or not the Suns brass completed building what looks to be a rough version of a contender.

A very rough version.
