The Phoenix Suns have been hit with injuries to their two best offensive players in Devin Booker and Jalen Green, but that doesn't mean their playoff ambitions have to die.
They have done an amazing job all season of defying the odds, and they have a multitude of players ready to step into the void left on this roster until they can get fully healthy again.
Collin Gillespie can take on bigger role for Phoenix once more
The most obvious candidate to do this is point guard Collin Gillespie, because he already did just that in the absence of Green for much of the first-half of the campaign.
We named him the MVP of the first-quarter of the season, and whether it has been off the bench or in a starting role he has provided for this group time and again.
ANOTHER COLLIN GILLESPIE TAKEOVER.

There is no reason to believe this won't once again be the case, particularly with Dillon Brooks alongside him as the defensive motor and emotional leader of the group.
We've raved about his elite IQ in the past, while the fact he has started 27-of-46 games played so far, a number that is now only going to rise, makes him one of the best former two-way players in the entire league.
He's taking nearly seven attempts from deep each game and connecting on over 42 percent of them, while his 4.7 assists are second only to Booker.
You can make the case then that he will lead this team in assists while both Booker and Green are gone, while also keeping pace with Grayson Allen and Royce O'Neale in the 3-pointers made department as well.
Really though it is the fact head coach Jordan Ott has already relied on him earlier in the season, with the results to back it up, that should relieve Suns fans.
They have the fifth hardest slate of games the rest of the way, while there's another six-game road trip on the horizon as well.
When looking for the most consistent players on the roster this season to tackle all of this, it is hard to look past Gillespie.
He also makes those around him such as Mark Williams better, while defensively they are somehow even better when he is on the court, despite giving up size to a lot of opponents each night.
Right now the Suns sit a hugely impressive fifth in defensive rating (112.1), but when Gillespie is out there that number shrinks to what would be second only to the Oklahoma City Thunder at 108.
He makes such a positive contribution on both ends of the court, and is now going to get an even bigger opportunity to showcase his talents for the Suns. The results will speak for themselves.
