Kevin Durant has not had a good first postseason experience with the Houston Rockets. Down 3-1 to the Los Angeles Lakers and no-showing Game 3, it sure feels like we've been here before.

But why should the Phoenix Suns care I hear you ask? Because given how well this season went in The Valley, to see another team struggle in the same ways the Suns once did is hard to ignore.

Durant now being linked to every remaining NBA team

An unintentionally hilarous rumor started ahead of Game 5 between the Rockets and Lakers, and it came to us via Michael Pina of The Ringer.

In his latest piece ahead of what could be another eventful offseason for the 37-year-old superstar, Pina names the teams that could have varying degrees of interest in Durant.

He then goes on to list basically every other franchise than the ones he has already played for, and that in itself is the joke.

At this point Durant could pop up anywhere, but the fact that it has gone so badly in Houston and Phoenix means that the reality is he is likely truly wanted nowhere.

Usually when a star is rumored to be available, agents leak a list of teams to a media source to try and get the wheels in motion.

Sometimes this is all just a ploy to get more money from their current situation, or to scare their current employer into some sort of action.

Giannis Antetokounmpo having made this some kind of an art form with the Milwaukee Bucks in recent years, but this Durant information takes that and turns it on its head.

At this point he is unlikely to have put the feelers out about going anywhere else, yet Pina is confident that essentially every other team might be interested in him.

This is the kind of circus the Suns don't miss, and really the season they just had proves that they are better off going in their current direction.

They got a head coach in Jordan Ott who is not flashy, and a co-star in Dillon Brooks who has never run from the grind in his life.

The jury is still out on Jalen Green, but at least he says all of the right things about wanting to be in The Valley. Michael Pina has got jokes, and they are all at the expense of Durant.
