Love to see it.

The Phoenix Suns have been able to take stock of their season thanks to a break in their relentless schedule, and Dillon Brooks used it as an opportunity to have another go at LeBron James.

As this team continues to defy expectations and stay in the playoff hunt, the importance of Devin Booker to everything they do has never been clearly.

He's reclaimed his position as a top 15 player in the league, while averaging over 25 a night with less firepower around him than in the last couple of seasons has been extremely impressive.

Booker has assumed role of main man in Phoenix once more.

The Valley will always love Booker, but by far the biggest knock on his game while Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal were in town was just how passive the franchise cornerstone was.

He was cool with Durant taking the last shot and didn't seem particularly outspoken either, and while that is a great attribute in a lot of ways, this version of the Suns needed him to take over once more.

He has done exactly that, while also finding the perfect balance of allowing Brooks to have his moments of being the focal point offensively and getting into it with opponents.

His 17.8 shot attempts leads the team each night, although Brooks is right there with him (17.6). It will also be interesting to see how both add adapt once Jalen Green has been added to the mix as well. He's got a lot of people to prove wrong when he does suit up.

Really though it is about Booker being re-established as the top dog in the pecking order in Phoenix, and you can see that all of his teammates have no problem giving him the ball when he calls for it.

Yet despite returning to the more aggressive player we know he can be, Booker continues to look for everybody else. It is a credit to him that's he's averaging a team high 6.7 assists every night.

Collin Gillespie, an actual point guard, sits second at 4.8, which gives you an idea of the all round level of play from Booker. You combine that with head coach Jordan Ott's defensive brand of basketball, you're going to have a chance to win each night.

So while there was no grand announcement that Booker would be returning to old ways, that is not his style, he has done exactly that when the Phoenix Suns needed him to the most. That's our Book.
