Raptors, Bulls Trade Details

In this trade, the other two teams also get the players they need. They are giving up some good guys, so the trade must be worth it for them, too. In this case, I certainly believe it is.

The Raptors are getting Nassir Little, who is still fairly young and has a pretty decent contract. He also has a bit of potential to develop into a legit three-and-d guy. He is the prototype of a player the Raptors love. Their getting Little takes away $3.9 million from their cap number, so it helps them in that aspect as well.

The Bulls are getting the Suns’ guard Grayson Allen and Raptors guard Malachi Flynn. Allen is likely enough for them to get to be content, as he is a legit three-point shooter and can be a pesky defender. This is what I meant when I said some fans won’t like it. Flynn gives them that point guard they need after losing Caruso, and he can provide a spark of offense when needed.

This does add $3.3 million to their cap number, though, so if they still don’t like the trade because of that, the Suns could throw in a second-rounder or two.

I believe this trade is a good one and one that would make the Suns better. Would they ever do it? Well, likely no. However, as I said before, it’s fun to do these things. To the people who think the Suns can’t win an NBA championship, this would certainly help.
