Phoenix Suns 2016 NBA Re-Draft: Pick #2

The Los Angeles Lakers do not acquire Anthony Davis without Brandon Ingram, and by extension, do not win the 2020 NBA championship either. With that considered, they chose to change nothing here, and proceed to draft the Duke product once again.

. . Small Forward. Duke. Brandon Ingram. 20. #2. player

Last season, Ingram averaged 23.8 points, 4.9 assists, and 4.9 rebounds per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field. He also included an early January performance that involved a seven made 3-pointers, as a well as a career high four blocked shots during a game one month later.

His Durant-like build still offers him incredible upside at just 24 years old for the New Orleans Pelicans to enjoy. Paired with Zion Williamson, he owns an incredibly bright future, certain to achieve more individual and team success as his career continues.

Being a future face of the league, Ingram represents a player which any team would want right now, surely validating his second overall selection even without his involvement in the Davis trade considered.
