3. Aron Baynes’ return

Shams dropped great news that Aron Baynes has tested negative two consecutive times for COVID-19 thus clearing him to join his teammates in Orlando.

Ricky Rubio, who joined the team just before the first scrimmage game, sat it out in an effort to ease him back into things, so it is very possible we see a similar strategy with Baynes. This is especially likely because, unlike Rubio, Baynes suffered some debilitating symptoms from the virus, at one point claiming he slept for four straight days.

It is hard to say what kind of shape he will be in, but a scrimmage game seems like a good opportunity to shake the cobwebs off before games start to count on Friday, when the Suns take on the Washington Wizards.
