Phoenix Suns over or under: is 26.5 wins too low?
February
Sunday. February 2 at Milwaukee Bucks
Well, well, well. The only team to beat the Bucks twice last year in the regular season travels to Milwaulkee. DeAndre Ayton will do his best to lock-up Giannis Antetokounmpo again, but the reigning MVP will have his way with the Suns and post a crazy stat line and a win. (22-27)
Monday. February 3 at Brooklyn Nets
I am interested to see the amount of second game wins the Suns have off of back-to-backs this year. This could be one of those games that could be a “throw in the towel” game; a team that is exhausted, and ready to go home. Or it could be one where the players are tired but willing to play hard. Regardless, the Nets are too good and will be fresh enough to take the win. (22-28)
Wednesday. February 5 at Detroit Pistons
Remember when I said the team would be ready to go home, by that I mean go to Detroit and win a basketball game. Booker and the team will be hungry for a win after two straight losses and get it here. Ayton will give Andre Drummond problems, but Oubre will be the difference. (23-28)
Friday. February 7 Houston Rockets
I do not see the Suns beating this Rockets team. Here’s why: James Harden is the best scorer in the league; Westbrook has an undeniable will to win; Houston is a grit-filled team, I do not see the Suns winning against Houston all year. (23-29)
Saturday. February 8 Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets must have hand-picked their schedule. This will be the fourth game against the Suns and it is not even the All-Star break. If there is one Nuggets game the Suns can win I think it would be this one. However, if I were betting, my money would be on the Nuggets. (23-30)
Monday. February 10 at L.A. Lakers
LeBron is the best player on the planet still, and Davis will be showing the league why he is next in line after LeBron. The Lakers will get this game, and it will remain a struggle for the Suns heading into the All-Star break. (23-31)
Wednesday. February 12 Golden State Warriors
The last game before the All-Star break. Hopefully, Booker and Ayton will be representing the Suns in the game. Realistically, the Suns will have no one in the game, but maybe Booker trying to win his second three-point contest. Anyway, the Suns will struggle to contain Curry as the Suns go into the break on a losing note. (23-32)
All-Star Break
So the All-Star break has arrived, and wow, I have the Suns with 22 wins at the break, that is insane. However, this is assuming health is no issue, and the team can win a couple games that are maybe far-fetched, while winning the ones they are supposed to.
Friday. February 21 at Toronto Raptors

The Suns will be going up North right after the break to face the defending champions. The Raptors will have a very different from last year. However, they beat Phoenix last year without Kawhi, and I see them beating the Suns again here. (23-33)
Saturday. February 22 at Chicago Bulls
This is a game where when you see it on the schedule you would normally pencil in a win for the Suns, but I think this is a game where we look like the Suns of old and lose a game they should win! (24-33)
Monday. February 24 at Utah Jazz
Utah will be pushing for a top-three seed in the West, and the Suns will be trying to get in the way. The Jazz’s depth will be the difference and will take this game. (24-34)
Wednesday. February 26 L.A. Clippers
The Clipper’s stars will have been rested, and this one could be ugly and will result in a loss for the Suns. (24-35)
Friday. February 28 Detroit Pistons
Motor City comes to town, and the Pistons will be in a position to make a playoff push. Blake Griffin is going to have a great year. The Suns will struggle to stop him, Pistons will secure a win. (24-36)
Saturday. February 29 Golden State Warriors
At this point, Klay Thompson should be back and help out Steph even if neither is not completely healthy. This will be the Suns fifth loss in a row. (24-37)
