If you couldn’t catch last night’s Valley of the Suns Live! you’ll have to watch/listen to the stream and find out what you missed!

While many fans are not overly excited about the signing of Trevor Ariza, they are excited about what is potentially going to happen next.

Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough has hyped the fact that he intended on hitting free agency hard this offseason, that he expected to make a couple trades, and that he wants to re-shape the face of the roster before the 2018-19 season starts. However, while the signing of Ariza is nice,  it is the next move – whatever it is – that fans are most looking forward to.

The Phoenix Suns appear to still need a point guard (although Brandon Knight certainly seems ready to take up the task), and that player could be on the way. The question is who and from where. There are no longer any free agents that move the meter much (did anybody say Tony Parker?) with no stars that are either available or were ever going to be available that the Suns could pursue.

So, who might the Suns trade with?

DeMarcus Cousins signing with the Golden State Warriors has moved the meter some, although even with LeBron James a member of the Los Angeles Lakers (shocker!), the Warriors were the team to beat not only in the Pacific Division, but in the league as well. Even if Kawhi Leonard joins LeBron in L.A. (has there ever been two 60 win teams in the same division before? Check @valleyofthesuns on Twitter to find out!)  the Warriors were always going to be the division favorites, and the Lakers were just going to be Golden State’s semifinals beat down before heading on to Houston for the Conference Finals.
