Luka Doncic

The best way to end the Ayton-Doncic debate? Draft both! While Doncic originally felt like a lock to go top three, questions about his athleticism have apparently dropped his stock.

Drafting Doncic and Ayton too would solve the team’s holes at point guard and big man in one draft. Neither would struggle playing together too. If Doncic is as good of a passer as he appears, he would instantly turn around a Suns offense that has been bottom in passing every year recently.

Josh Jackson would likely lead the defense by guarding opposing point guards. If Doncic isn’t a true point guard, then the Suns will utilize a wing-led offense.

Marvin Bagley III

I have already recommended this so I won’t go into details.

Basically, if the Suns draft Ayton, they’re committed to dominating the paint. It seems that there are enough players like Horford, Clint Capela and Draymond Green to stop a dominant big man such as Joel Embiid, LaMarcus Aldridge).

If the Suns roll the dice on two post players, they need another big who can dominate a small ball 4, and Bagley is that guy.

With such an above average post up game, tremendous athleticism for his size, and a good face-up game, Bagley likely won’t fall to the fourth pick in my opinion, but who knows?
