I know, I know…Some of you hardcore fans can not catch every single episode of Valley of the Suns Live! every Monday night at 6pm on Twitter, Periscope, YouTube, and Facebook. But you can always watch the replay here!

We are only DAYS  away from the NBA Draft where the Phoenix Suns will be selecting (DeAndre Ayton) first overall – their first ever first overall selection in their 51 years of drafting.

Fans are obviously stoked  for the opportunity for the Suns to add a top-flight player to the roster to pair up with Devin Booker and Josh Jackson, and hope that whoever they take (DeAndre Ayton) is the kind of impact player that the franchise needs to help push the team back into the playoffs.

Yeah, yeah, I know that there are a few outliers who are still calling for Luka Doncic, and don’t get me wrong: if the Phoenix Suns could land both players somehow, I’d be as giddy as a fourth grader on the last day of school. But as I told the viewers this past Monday night, I am 99.99999% (the consistency of the most pure copper) sure that the Suns will be selecting DeAndre Ayton first overall.

So sure, that you can round that number up by .00001%.

There are countless moves that the Suns could make over the summer, with the likelihood that they do make a draft day trade or two. How many and to where? I’m not sure. They’re certainly not trading out of the number one spot, but they still hold 16 and 31 overall. Could those be packaged to move up? Could they be packaged to move back and then pick up another future first round pick? Could they be packaged for a veteran player or two?

It just seems highly unlikely that the Suns will not be bringing four draft picks into training camp, and even their first three (with almost guaranteed positions on the roster) isn’t likely either.

We’ll have to wait and see!

These topics and much, much more are in the attached video, can be found on replay on all of your favorite social media sites (so long as they are Twitter, Periscope, YouTube, and Facebook), and can be viewed live  on Valley of the Suns Live! each Monday evening at 6pm AZ!

Don’t forget too: I will be broadcasting a special show during the NBA Draft Lottery and will take viewers up through the Suns’ 16th pick (should they retain it). If they trade the pick, we will be live until the end of the lottery, but I will re-convene for each of the Suns’ subsequent picks through the end of the second round.
