Josh Jackson led the Suns in their victory against the Sacramento Kings. He was the game’s high scorer and ended the contest with 28 points, six rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block, while shooting 10-23 from the floor, 2-2 from down town and 6-8 on foul shots. This was the Suns’ first victory since Feb. 28, 2018 and the win snapped a 15 game losing streak.
Jackson had his fifth double-double of the season in the Suns’ blowout defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans. He had 22 points, 11 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block, while making 7-24 shots from the field, none of his four shots from behind the arc and 80 percent of his shots from the charity stripe. This game marked the fourth game in a row in which he had at least 22 points and the eighth game in a row that he had at least two steals.
Honorable Mention
Fans should be relieved that Marquese Chriss is this week’s honorable mention. Chriss’ production has been a sweet relief for fans in April. He’s averaged 17.0 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist, 0.7 blocks and steals. Hopefully, Chriss has finally turned a corner in his development and this isn’t just a short run of good play.

Josh Jackson is certainly trying to end the season on a strong note with earning his now third player of the week award in a row and finished first in March’s top five players of the month. In the first seven day span of April, he’s averaged 24.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 block and 2.0 steals. Jackson could end up being an elite two-way player in the league if he can continue to develop his offense.
