The Phoenix Suns are evaluating every avenue to improve during the last stretch of the season, which includes using 10-day contracts to search for talent.
It’s clear that all season long, player development has been the focus of the Phoenix Suns‘ front office. Move after move has shown that Suns’ general manager Ryan McDonough has his focus on the future. It appears that McDonough has made yet another move that might benefit the franchise further down the line.
This move may end up being a small blip on the long standing history of the Suns or it may end up being a positive check on McDonough’s resume. Only time will tell if Shaquille Harrison will add something positive to the Suns’ rebuild. Harrison does come to the Phoenix with a very solid career with the Northern Arizona Suns (NAS).

The 6-foot-4 guard still has a lot to prove with Phoenix, if he can produce similar numbers in the NBA, then he could end up with a second 10-day contract and eventually a contract to end this season.
As seen in the tweet above, Bordow explained that the Suns had to make another move to add Harrison. Phoenix’s fans must say goodbye to the short lived experience of Josh Gray. Gray showed inconsistency on offense with Phoenix which most likely ended his NBA stint. Gray should be able to help the NAS once he returns to the G-League.

Phoenix Suns’ fans should be excited to see what Harrison can bring to the club on the 10-day contract. Even if the 10-day experience with Harrison fails, fans should still be satisfied knowing that McDonough’s still trying to find talent in the last stretch of rebuilding season.
