With the trade deadline fast approaching there are many deals that can be had. I recently posted a piece on Eastern conference trade possibilities. This piece is for the Western conference.

As I did in my East piece with Eastern conference teams I will include one smaller deal and one bigger deal that the Suns could pull off with each Western Conference team.

Let’s get to it.

DALLAS MAVERICKS

SMALL – 2018 2nd round pick (via Milwaukee) for Yogi Ferrell

He’s only 24 years old, was given 3 pre draft work outs by the Suns and would be a welcome addition with Phoenix needing another PG. In games he’s started, Yogi has made 38.7% of his treys and averaged 11.8 points, 4.1 assists and 1 steal. He will likely walk away from the Mavs in free agency now that they have Dennis Smith Jr so getting a 2nd round pick isn’t a bad move.

BIG – Tyson Chandler for Devin Harris and Josh McRoberts

Dallas brings back a key piece from their title team who could be a good mentor for Noel if he stays before Tyson hangs up his laces. Phoenix gets a veteran PG on an expiring deal, can waive McRoberts and would free up over 12M in additional cap space for this summer.
