2. This is Devin’s team now (and that’s a good thing)

Devin Booker is the best player the Suns have had since Steve Nash. With Bledsoe on the roster, it was hard to say that this was truly Devin’s team. Honestly, some nights it was, and some nights it was wasn’t. With Bledsoe in Milwaukee, there is no doubt who should be in control of the game night in and night out. Every team will key-in on Devin first during scouting and prep, every big shot in pressure situations will be drawn up for Book, this is truly, unequivocally, his team now.

It’s a huge opportunity for his growth as a NBA superstar. If he can adjust to putting the team on his back nightly rather than every other game or so, the sky is literally the limit in his career. With Bledsoe – a ball dominant point guard – no longer on the court beside him, Booker is going to receive better looks as the ball movement continues to improve. Suns fans should expect more growth from Devin this year than in the previous two seasons. At the end of the year, we’ll be talking about Book as a potential All-NBA pick in 2018-19.
