The Suns have a lot of big men. From the starters, Tyson Chandler and Marquese Chriss, to the bench, Alex Len, Dragan Bender and Alan Williams (who is likely to return this season), Phoenix is already overloaded at power forward/center spots.

Adding another big man in Greg Monroe simply does not make sense for the Phoenix Suns. Monroe will almost certainly force Tyson Chandler, who has played very well this season, out-of-town and limit the minutes of Chriss and Bender.

Next: The Suns lost the Eric Bledsoe trade

To sum up, Greg Monroe’s arrival in Phoenix will force the Suns’ best veteran out of the team and take away minutes from two of the Suns’ most promising youngsters.

Ouch.
