CLEVELAND, OH – JUNE 09: Klay Thompson

“Can it be?”

“Oh, it’s too shocking!”

“This is completely unexpected!”

Or, maybe not. Like the point guard edition, led by Steph Curry, there was little suspense as to who would top this shooting guard specific list. Klay Thompson is an utterly fantastic  basketball player.

From his incredibly consistent shot to his lock-down defense, Klay is one of the few complete players in the NBA. He is the equivalent of a five-tool baseball player. Thompson can pass, shoot, defend, rebound and run the floor.

Will Booker pass Klay Thompson at some point in the future? We will just have to wait and see.

But for now, Klay Thompson is the best shooting guard in the Pacific Division, and one of the best in the entire NBA.
