The 3&D prospect coming from The U  has made his debut on 2K. That’s every ball player’s dream, right?

I’m on the record from months ago saying that Davon Reed was impressive during Summer League and if his name is called upon, he should get some decent minutes. That was before he was ruled out for four to six months to heal a meniscus injury.

In comparison to fellow second round picks Frank Jackson (70), Frank Mason (69), Dillon Brooks (68), and Jawun Evans (68), his rating is fair. How much it likely rises throughout the season is a good question. An injury or two would have to happen in the backcourt for him to get meaningful minutes, even after he himself returns to the court.

Until then, Mr. Reed stays put.
