No sharing the number one spot with Devin Booker is not a cop out. I truly believe that Josh Jackson can and will be that valuable to this franchise very soon. In three years I fully anticipate the long, athletic,

More from Valley of the Suns

havoc wreaking former Kansas Jayhawk to be the most valuable piece of the Young Suns. Jackson has the ability to be Phoenix’s number one defensive player, their second best scoring option, a willing facilitator who could be one of the leading rebounders on the team. If that doesn’t sound like the best value to a young core than I’m not sure what else could. Jackson will be leaned on the same way Shawn Marion was for the Suns in his prime – for scoring, rebounding, passing and taking on the toughest defensive assignment. Under the right circumstances Jackson could be the valley’s Kawhi Leonard in three years, and thats why he will be as the Suns’ most valuable piece in the next three years.
