Trade 2: San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, TX – DECEMBER 28: Dejounte Murray

I know, I don’t like the idea of helping the Spurs anymore than you do. However, if it helps the Suns as well, you take the deal.

This idea nets you basically what you would expect the market to be for Bled, which is a young PG and a future first round pick. Unlike the Denver deal that brings back Mudiay – who has been disappointing in his young career – this trade gets you Dejounte Murray who has looked far more promising in his limited minutes.

San Antonio Receives – Kyrie Irving

Phoenix Receives – Iman Shumpert, Dejounte Murray, and SA 2020 pick no protection

Cleveland Receives – Eric Bledsoe, Tony Parker and SA 2018 pick no protection
