Jonathan Isaac F
Finally, the last member of the “Phoenix 4″ is flex forward, Jonathan Isaac.
Isaac is an extremely skilled player who is capable of playing both small forward and power forward. He started every game for the Seminoles in 2016, averaging 12.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.5 blocks, and 1.2 steals per game.
These well-rounded numbers show just how versatile Jonathan Isaac truly is. At 6’10” he has a consistent, smooth jumpshot which he is able to get off anywhere on the court. Isaac is also a very adept ball-handler, a skill which allows him to get to the rim on perimeter drives. On defense, Isaac uses his long, 7’1” wingspan to operate as a rim protector, blocking and contesting shots. Quick feet and hands also allow him to defend well enough on the perimeter.

Isaac has been labeled by many as the best player at his position in this entire 2017 NBA Draft class, and the Suns would doubtlessly be interested in selecting him at number four. His ability to play multiple positions would allow the Suns to find him enough minutes off the bench to benefit his overall development. In a year or so, or maybe even later this year, we could see a Suns frontcourt of Jonathan Isaac, Marquese Chriss, and Dragan Bender. How’s that look to you, Suns fans?
