8. Dragan Bender

(Trade Value: B)

Dragan Bender was a fourth overall pick, so there is some expectation of stardom and success from a player selected that high. However, success from the fourth overall pick doesn’t always happen and his rookie season was evidence that he is a bit farther away from reaching his potential ceiling than even the post pessimistic fans thought when the Suns selected him. This does not mean that he will be a bust, and there is certainly no reason to think that he can’t suddenly come in next season with a fuller understanding of the game and a better grasp on how to be successful in it. Yet if the Suns wanted to trade him for any reason, teams will take caution when making an offer because the risk of the unknown is still much higher than the understanding of the known.
