7. 2018 Miami Heat first round pick

(Trade Value: B)

Even though the Heat made an epic and surprising second half push for the playoffs this past season, they still fell short of the playoffs and finished the regular season with an under .500 winning percentage. This most certainly dampened the early expectations of the value of their 2018 pick, but it did not entirely wipe it out. The 2016-17 team made their run really without any stars. If Chris Bosh makes a return this fall then the team will have one, although he will probably never again be the impact player he once was. Hassan Whiteside has developed into a fantastic two-way player, but has yet to make an All-Star team, and will never be the kind of player that people buy tickets just to see. Since they made their second half run, the Heat will now only be drafting 14th in June so they likely will not get an immediate impact player. If they do not sign a star free agent or make a blockbuster trade, then even in the weak Eastern Conference they still may may miss the playoffs again next season, giving a serious value boost to their first round pick.
