The Suns will have Not One, Not Two, Not – Okay, just two – All-Star Representatives in February 2018.
Maybe not starters, but there is room on the bench for Devin Booker to rise his way to the All-Star game in Los Angeles next winter. And if you read prediction number one, do you know how often a 25 point scorer doesn’t make an All-Star team? Not often at all and certainly if Devin Booker were to pull of such a feat by the break in February, it would be very hard to imagine that he would not get the call to at least be a reserve for the Western Conference.
But who is the second All-Star, you ask?
Great question!
And I will answer that as soon as I know.

This fifth way too early prediction is also predicated on who the Suns acquire through trade this off-season, and set on the belief that Ryan McDonough is going to make a splash and find somebody to team up with Devin Booker and whoever he drafts. Whether it’s Jimmy Butler, Gordon Hayward, Andre Drummond, or someone not mentioned, coupled with Booker and whoever the Suns have at point guard be it Eric Bledsoe, Lonzo Ball, or Markelle Fultz, the offense will improve next year, led by Booker and said second man. With a much improved team in an up-tempo offense, that player too will receive national recognition which will garner All-Star attention and a second Phoenix Suns All-Star selection.
Obviously if McDonough is unable to pull off a splash trade (and God knows, nobody in the Valley of the Suns wants to see him give up too much to force something) then this prediction will be a heck of a lot harder to come to fruition. Yet there is still a shot in the dark chance that coupled with a significantly improved season (and by that I mean averaging 20 points and 7-9 rebounds a game), Marquese Chriss or T.J. Warren could maybe, Maybe (I said MAYBE!) sneak in as a last-second replacement due to injuries. (Certainly the fulfillment of predictions three and four would help tremendously as well).
