The Phoenix Suns 2016-2017 schedule has been released, and there a quite a few match ups Suns’ fans should be excited to watch.
The Suns start off their 2016-2017 regular season against the Sacramento Kings, in a battle of the bottom. Both teams finished towards the bottom of the league last season, and although an NBA championship isn’t the prediction for either team this season, they’d like to make it a better year than last.

As the questions surrounding the Suns’ starting five will continue to loom, one can only expect players like Brandon Knight, Eric Bledsoe, and Devin Booker to be the leaders of the 2016-2017 Suns. Whether that means they will all fill a starting role is still up for grabs. However, each should have some exciting matchups to look forward to this season.
For the rest of the team, watching Jared Dudley and Leandro Barbosa return to Phoenix will be exciting enough. But they will have a chance to showcase their skills as well in numerous bench match ups during the season.
When it comes to the rookies, Tyler Ulis, Marquese Chriss, and Dragan Bender, there’s nothing but hope as of right now. They will all have the opportunity to shine this season. If they take advantage of the opportunity is entirely up to them.
Nevertheless, the Suns look to have a thrilling season coming up. They may not be an NBA Finals favorite, or even looking to make the playoffs. What they do get to do, is see how well their young talent can progress as they look to slowly become a top tier NBA team.
So, what are the Suns best 1-on-1 matchups of the 2016-2017 season?
