Over the last few months, the biggest forward position that’s been under the microscope for the Phoenix Suns has been the power forward spot. From the LaMarcus Aldridge pursuit to Markieff Morris‘ staring contest with the front office to new acquisitions Mirza Teletovic and Jon Leuer, the 4-spot clearly holds a ton of intrigue heading into the 2015-16 season.

But before we get too lost in the power forward position, it’s worth taking a look at T.J. Warren and his impending showdown with P.J. Tucker for minutes at the 3-spot.

On opening day, anyone expecting Warren to have locked up the starting job on the wing will probably be disappointed. Warren, those words could ring especially true this season.
