After putting so much time, effort and offseason maneuvering into improving team chemistry this summer, the Phoenix Suns may have yet another personnel problem. According to a report, Markieff Morris wants nothing to do with the organization that recently traded away his twin brother Marcus Morris, and if Keef is really that upset over the whole ordeal, it could only be a matter of time before he’s dealt.

Keep in mind, this is a team that came undone because of locker room discord. The unhappy tension between the team’s three point guards led to a major roster shakeup at the trade deadline and Phoenix was never the same afterward, plummeting from a top-10 offense before the All-Star break to 28th in the league afterward.

If Keef really does represent a locker room cancer heading into the 2015-16 season, then the Suns need one more round of chemotherapy before training camp begins. The question is, what would a potential Markieff Morris trade look like?

With his trade value in the dumps, the Suns would be lucky to get something of value in return, let alone a replacement starter who’d help this team keep its suddenly faint playoff hopes alive.

But assuming the severity of the felony aggravated assault charges and the all-around immaturity from last season hasn’t sunk in around the league the way it has in Phoenix, there are teams who would be interested in adding a 25-year-old offensive weapon on a terrific contract like Keef.

To that end, here’s a look at eight potential Markieff Morris trades, why they could happen and why they could just as easily be pipe dreams.

Note: The Suns may have to throw in a sweetener like a future draft pick or an asset like Archie Goodwin for some of these deals. We’re also assuming the report about Keef’s unhappiness in Phoenix is accurate here.
