If the Suns take a power forward with their first round pick (as they probably should unless someone terrific slides to them at No. 13), Phoenix will still need to address its need for three-point shooting. They could wait to do that until free agency, or they could take a chance with a second round prospect like Frazier.
As a slightly one-dimensional shooting guard, this 6’5″ prospect has one dimension that the Suns need in a major way: perimeter shooting. In his junior season with the Florida Gators, Frazier averaged 12.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game while draining 38 percent of his 5.8 three-point attempts per game.
Ranked No. 55 on ESPN’s Chad Ford’s Big Board, this 21-year-old could be a realistic second round option for Phoenix, especially since the Suns brought him in for a pre-draft workout a few weeks ago. Here’s a look at his potential fit in the Valley of the Sun.
