The first batch was the comatose-inducing group, with all six players — Montrezl Harrell, R.J. Hunter, local product Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Christian Wood, Delon Wright and Rashad Vaughn — projected to be taken in the first round.

McConnell, Wyoming’s Larry Nance Jr. and UC Santa Barbara’s Alan Williams stood out as possible second round picks for the Suns, who have the No. 44 pick in this year’s draft in addition to No. 13. Nedim Buza, Will Cummings and Jarvis Threatt rounded out the second group.
