Only a handful of games stand between us and the playoffs, the most exciting time for the NBA fan. This year, especially in the Western Conference, the matchups will be supremely interesting and the talent gap nearly non-existent between most teams out West.

The East is a different story — just a couple great teams, a couple decent ones and a bunch of garbage teams lightyears below .500 still vying the last two spots and a chance to get swept in the first round by either the Atlanta Hawks or Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Phoenix Suns have officially been shut out of the playoffs (shed a tear for Suns’ playoff hopes) after last night’s loss mathematically eliminated them.

So as sort of a retrospective, we’ll look back at past Suns teams and see where some notable Suns players are on playoff teams now.

There are 19 former Suns players still in the NBA currently playing for playoff teams (or teams that could still make the playoffs if you include the Indiana Pacers and Miami Heat).
