1. How embarrassing is the losing skid to end the season?

Gerald Bourguet: It’d probably be more embarrassing if the team wasn’t so banged up, but even with Brandon Knight and Alex Len out, it’s still pretty embarrassing. If the Suns lose their last game to the Clippers (likely), they’ll have gone 1-10 to close the season…their worst 11-game finish since the franchise’s inaugural season.

Scott Chasen: Embarrassing is such a strong word. To me, embarrassing would be appropriate if their last 13 losses weren’t to playoff teams and Oklahoma City. The losses to Minnesota, Sacramento, Denver and Charlotte earlier this year were the embarrassing ones. I don’t think losing to really, really good teams should be considered embarrassing, although disappointing is certainly a more-than-fair way to describe it.

Spencer Hann: On a scale of 1-10 on the embarrassing barometer, it’s about an 8. To think at one point this team was 38-33, with a real shot at the playoffs, and now they have amounted to this. Losing 9 of their last 10 in the seasons biggest games is bad, but it’s the way the Suns are losing that’s embarrassing. Simply put, failing to register any sort of offensive efficiency and being blown out in what seems like every other game, is a sign of an extremely immature team that wants the season to end just as much as the fans do.

Eric Saar: I mean sort of embarrassing, but certainly understandable. They have been missing two starters, in addition to a few other role players to a roster that already apparently couldn’t keep up in the Western Conference. Plus they are playing some great teams. It makes sense they are losing these games.

Gavin Schall: Doesn’t it kind of make sense? A team that traded away a third of their roster, including their best player at the deadline, struggling with injuries while facing one of the league’s toughest closing stretches and it makes sense they’re not setting the world on fire. It sucks, but I don’t think embarrassing is the right way to describe it, more like disheartening.
