Green wasted no time endearing himself to his new fan base. The 23-year-old scored a game-high 29 points to go with three rebounds, three assists and two steals. His six 3-pointers made set a record for a Suns player in their debut with the team.

The Clippers, however, played without their two best players. James Harden (personal reasons) and Kawhi Leonard (right ankle sprain) were sidelined for head coach Ty Lue in the loss.

The two teams will now get an immediate rematch. This time is will be a road game for the Suns, who have yet to win a game away from Mortgage Matchup Center this season. They’re 0-4 in road contests.
