Phoenix Suns guard/forward Dillon Brooks put together his best performance in a Suns jersey Thursday night against the Indiana Pacers.
The acquisition from the Houston Rockets via the Kevin Durant trade finished with 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting (3-of-7 from beyond the arc), to go with a rebound and a steal while sinking all five of his free-throw attempts.
Brooks’ Basketball-Reference Game Score (a metric developed by John Hollinger to give a rough measure of a player’s productivity for a single game) of 21.9 was by far his best mark of the young season.
By putting up those 32 points in just 28 minutes of action, Brooks and Devin Booker became the first Suns duo to score more than 30 points in fewer than 30 minutes in a game.
The evening was highlighted by a circus shot and-1 wherein Brooks drew contact by way of a forearm shove from Pacers guard Ben Sheppard, finishing with a contortionist floater and leaving Suns broadcaster Eddie Johnson stifling laughter.

How, indeed.
Despite taking the hit and having to shoot the ball awkwardly to his right as his momentum took him the opposite direction, Brooks sank the attempt and got to the foul line as well.
The Suns social media team had some fun with a still image of the shot, saying to "Hang it in The Louvre."

If the museum agrees, hopefully it won't get stolen.
