The Phoenix Suns are likely finished with all of the major roster changes in The Valley this offseason, although there is still some space to work around the fringes. They currently have three players in Grayson Allen, Nick Richards and Royce O'Neale who are sll surely available if the price is right.
The issue there of course is that demand for any of their services isn't exactly high, although that could change once the trade deadline looms next year. Plenty of rival teams could talk themselves into any one of those guys, they just don't need to in September when training camp is on the horizon and most franchises feel like they are in a good place.
Suns should try to find a spot for Jordan Loyd in Phoenix.
Although the big moves have been made, the Suns do still have an open roster spot on this team. One that point guard Jared Butler could yet take, although the front office would surely prefer Devin Carter to take that spot if he were to become available. As he plays for the Sacramento Kings, that is always a possibility.
But of the top 12 scorers currently playing in the incredibly entertaining EuroBasket competition right now, Poland's Jordan Loyd is the only who isn't on an NBA roster next season. He's currently with Monaco in France - last home to Kemba Walker - and had a single year in the league with the Toronto Raptors back in 2018-19.

There are two good reasons to bring him back to the states for one more shot in the league, and both are as obvious as each other. Loyd can play the point guard position, and that is an area the Suns need as much depth as possible. Behind whichever of Devin Booker and Jalen Green are going to begin the season in the role, they have Collin Gillespie and Jordan Goodwin.
There's also the possibility of Butler sticking around in some capacity, but right now Loyd is looking like a more creative scorer, albeit one who is 32-years-old. Which leads us nicely onto the second point, which is that he can be for this roster exactly what Nigel Hayes-Davis is also going to be once the season begins.
Guys who thought they'd have a long career in the NBA, but who instead had to go to Europe to find success. The Suns have three rookies who need all the mentorship they can get, and who better than a pair of vets in Loyd and Hayes-Davis who are going to enjoy every moment of this opportunity. Then there is 23-year-old Green, who could also do with having older heads guide him on his way.
Loyd would obviously be cheap and there's a spot available there for him, so this makes a lot of sense. Phoenix has plenty of younger guys with upside - including Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro - and so taking another older player would appear the right call with this last roster spot. If you've been watching EuroBasket you'll know how competitive it has been, yet Loyd is thriving for Poland.
