After years of trading away first-round draft picks like they were expired gift certificates, the Phoenix Suns once again won’t have a first round pick in the upcoming 2026 NBA draft.

What they do have, however, is the No. 47 overall pick in the second round.

For a team in serious need of roster depth, finding a diamond in the rough in Round 2 would go a long way toward helping Devin Booker and Co. compete in the loaded Western Conference.

But which talents will be available for Phoenix after Round 1 concludes? Is there a chance of them finding a difference-maker at pick No. 47?

Here’s a quick roundup of what mock drafts around the media landscape are predicting.

ESPN, Sports Illustrated mock Arizona talent staying in-state with Suns

In their early mock drafts for 2026, ESPN and SI.com each have the Suns selecting University of Arizona senior guard Jaden Bradley with their second-round selection.

The Wildcats’ point guard put together the best season of his collegiate career for an Arizona team that made their first Final Four appearance in the NCAA Tournament since 2001.

In 39 games (all starts), Bradley averaged 13.3 points, 4.4 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. Those marks were all career bests.

He converted 39.4% of his 3-point shots and 46.3% of his field goals overall.

The 2025-26 Big 12 Player of the Year would bring his wealth of college experience to the pros. As an older prospect (he’ll turn 23 in September), Bradley may come with the added benefit of being able to contribute right away as a backup point guard to guide the second unit when the starters need a breather.

Yahoo! Sports sends Auburn senior to The Valley in mock draft

In their own mock draft, Yahoo! Sports has the Suns selecting Auburn forward Keyshawn Hall.

Another senior like Bradley, Hall would bring a lot more offensive firepower to the fold. The senior averaged 19.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists for the Tigers while converting 37.9% of his 3-point attempts.

“Hall became a do-it-all weapon for Auburn, and in the NBA his 6-7 frame and reliable stroke from 3 give him 3-and-D potential,” Kevin O’Connor wrote. “He’d fit like a glove in the Phoenix rotation.”

If nothing else, Suns legend Charles Barkley would certainly be pleased that a hooper from his alma mater would be taking his talents to The Valley.
