The Suns are on the brink of elimination at home on Sunday night against the surging Minnesota Timberwolves.
How will Phoenix respond with the season on the line? Instead of betting into the point spread, which is lined as a near coin flip, I'm going to the eye the total given some of the Suns' adjustments over the course of the firs three games.
Here's my best bet for the potential series ending matchup on Sunday night.

Timberwolves vs. Suns key players to watch
Minnesota Timberwolves
Anthony Edwards: Edwards was the best player on the floor in Game 3, scoring 36 points with nine rbeounds and five assists. The Timberwolves are known for its defense, the best in the league in the regular season, but its been the team's offense with Edwards at the center of it that has out-paced the Suns in a big way this series.
Phoenix Suns
Devin Booker: It's been a quiet series for Booker, who hasn't scored more than 23 points or hit more than two threes in a game this series. The length of Minnesota has given him trouble, but he is off his most efficient outing in Game 2, shooting above 50% from the floor to go with a series high 23 and eight assists. Can he get on track on Sunday before the team runs out of games?
Timberwolves vs. Suns prediction and pick
The Suns tried to make a push in the second half by going super small and trying to push the tempo and shoot from the perimeter to get back into the game.
Phoenix wasn't overly successful in terms of getting back into Game 3, but the team will need to go through some radical changes in order to jumpstart a comeback effort of epic porptions. I believe we see a quick change from head coach Frank Vogel to get the team going potentially with a lineup that features Kevin Durant at center or other schematic changes that can ignite something into the Suns lineup.
Phoenix won't win in a defensive minded affair, it needs to up its three-point rate, which is the lwoest in the postseason of any team. With that in mind, I'm angling for the over.
The Timberwovlves have proven comfortable against this Suns' defense, scoring over 100 in all three games and 120 in two of them. The issue is can the Suns score? The team has scored more than 100 in one of the three meetings this postseason, but I believe with the team's backs against the wall, we see Phoenix push the pace and that helps the total get over.
