Suns vs. Pacers NBA expert prediction and odds for Friday, Jan. 26
By Reed Wallach
The Suns are starting to turn into the contender we had hoped they'd be at the start of the season.
Phoenix has won seven straight, including last weekend against the new-look Pacers, can the Suns keep it rolling against Indiana on the road on Friday night? The Pacers are still acclimating Pascal Siakam into the fold, but the team's potent offense will be on display, can it keep up with the Suns?

Suns vs. Pacers Key Players to Watch
Suns
Devin Booker: Booker is off a monster outing against the Mavericks on Wednesday, scoring 46 points on 17-of-23 shooting. Can he follow it up with another monster shooting outing against the fastest pace team in the NBA?
Pacers
Pascal Siakam: Siakam has been putting up similar numbers since joining the Pacers, but will need to be the engine on Friday against the Suns humming offense with Haliburton on the sidelines. He was a monster on Thursday against the Sixers, posting a triple-double in a double-digit win, can he do the same on Friday?
Suns vs. Pacers Prediction and Pick
The total is high, which is expected for both of these teams, but I can't help but go over this mark.
Even though the Pacers will be without Haliburton, the acquisition of Siakam gives the unit a playmaker who can lift the offense to maintain above-average efficiency. Meanwhile, the defense continues to be a big concern and the Phoenix offense should expose that flaw.
The Suns are starting to look like the offensive firepower we expected this season, the team is third in effective field goal percentage this month at over 59% as the team has its 'Big 3' of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal on the field for extended minutes.
Given that the Pacers are playing at the fastest pace in the NBA, there will be plenty of possessions for both teams and I expect each team to clear 120 points.
I'll take the over on Friday night.
