The Suns have had an up-and-down season, but the team is in a position to host the Play-In Tournament game as the No. 7 seed, or even get out of it, with a strong finish to the regular season.
Phoenix is in Sacramento to face the slumping Kings on Friday night, who are on the second night of a back-to-back after losing to the Pelicans on Thursday night. Can the Suns continue to trend upward ahead of the postseason?

Suns Key Players to Watch
Devin Booker: Booker is on a heater of late, averaging nearly 30 points with nearly eight assists in six April games as he looks to play himself into playoff form with the Suns needing some help to get out of the Play-In Tournament.
Kings Key Players to Watch
Domantas Sabonis: In four games against the Suns this season, Sabonis is averaging a triple double – 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists. Phoenix is shallow in terms of front court depth and Sabonis has taken full advantage, but the overall quality of the Kings’ has dropped of late, can he help get the team back on track.
Suns vs. Kings Prediction and Pick
Sacramento’s depth is depleted with the likes of Huerter and Monk sidelined with significant injuries, and it's starting to show. Over the course of the season, the Kings are 5-9 against the spread (ATS) on the second night of a back-to-back and the team is now short two key rotation players.
The Kings lost for the fourth time in five games on Thursday to the Pelicans at home by double digits and the team continues to struggle during this tough slate.
While Phoenix has had some consistency issues, this team has the firepower to take care of business on the road with the rest advantage.
Sacramento is playing far slower of late, 20th in tempo per NBA.com since the start of April, and that will help play into the Suns’ hands as the team is far more capable of generating points in the half-court with Booker and Kevin Durant.
I’ll trust the healthier team to take care of business with a rest advantage as well.
