If the Phoenix Suns were to create an open roster spot, there are several remaining free agents that would be great fits.

2. Tyus Jones

Last season was a breakout year for Tyus Jones, as he started every game after spending the majority of his career as a backup. In 66 games for the Washington Wizards, he averaged 12/2.7/7.3, while registering a 57% TS percentage. Despite that, a starting gig and a contract significantly over the minimum seems out of reach for him at this point of the offseason.

The Suns addressed their backup point guard spot with Morris, but Jones would further improve their playmaking, and shore up their turnover issues.

When it comes to taking care of the ball, Jones is one of the best in the entire league. His career assist to turnover ratio is over 4:1, and last season it was an absolutely ridiculous 7:1. Jones is also a very capable shooter from distance, hitting 37% of his attempts from 3 during his career.

Aside from the crazy value of getting Jones on a minimum, he would address those two very important issues for the Suns.
