5 Dream trade deadline targets for Suns (and what they'd cost)

The Suns should try to add these players before the Feb. 8 trade deadline.

1. Miles Bridges

Bridges has been linked to the Suns by several outlets. The 6’7 forward missed the entire 2022-23 season while facing a domestic violence charge. It is fair to not want him on your team, but he is back on the court and playing well in Charlotte.

Bridges is averaging 21.1 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals in 37.2 minutes per game. He would be a starter on the Suns and improve their title odds. The 25-year-old is still improving and is in the final year of his contract. The Suns may be able to buy extremely low and get a difference-maker on the floor.

What would it cost to acquire Bridges: 4 2nd-round draft picks plus salary-matching

The market for Bridges is down and it is a massive risk for the Phoenix Suns. Owner Mat Ishbia is never afraid to be aggressive, and he could pull off a surprising deal before the Feb. 8 trade deadline. It would certainly make a splash if the Suns landed Miles Bridges.

The front office is exploring their options. They want to upgrade their roster, but finding a deal will not be easy. Stay tuned to see what the Suns can pull off and if they can land anyone in the buyout market.
