After scoring 18 points against Montana State, Booker let his momentum take over the next game. He once again led the team in scoring, which was the trend during his days playing for Kentucky. No one could figure out how to defend him at the three-point area, his comfort zone.

Kentucky had already built an 11-point lead by the time Booker checked in the game, which made it extra easy for him to increase the gap. He mostly settled for threes and finished with 19 points. The young guard made five threes that game and only missed one field goal attempt the entire game.

Booker had a blast in college and played the game as he felt comfortable. Which is why he was awarded the SEC Sixth Man of the Year. He stood out among the rest and was even part of the SEC All-Freshman Team and All-SEC Second Team.
