Best NBA prop bets today for Timberwolves vs. Suns (Bet on Bradley Beal, Anthony Edwards)

Breaking down the best prop bets for the Minnesota Timberwolves-Phoenix Suns matchup on Friday, April 26.

The Phoenix Suns have their backs against the wall in Game 3 of the first round against the Minnesota Timberwolves, but oddsmakers think they’ll pick up a win, favoring Phoenix by 4.5 points in this matchup.

I’m not sold on the Suns (15-19-1 against the spread as home favorites this season) covering the spread in this game, so why not bet on some props?

With so much star power, the Suns should lean on their Big 3 to get the job done in this game. Plus, Minnesota star Anthony Edwards could be worth a bet – if you can stomach it – after a down-scoring game.

Here’s a look at three stars to target in the prop market in Game 3:

Timberwolves vs. Suns best NBA prop bets

  • Bradley Beal OVER 5.5 assists
  • Anthony Edwards OVER 35.5 points, rebounds and assists
  • Devin Booker UNDER 4.5 rebounds

Bradley Beal OVER 5.5 assists

I haven’t loved Bradley Beal as a scorer in this series, especially after he put up a 6-for-17 shooting night in Game 2, but he could be undervalued as a passer.

Beal has tallied six assists in each game in this series, and he’s averaging 8.0 potential assists per game. This comes even though the Suns have struggled to score against the No. 1 defense, putting up 95 and 93 points in the first two games of the series.

I lean with Beal to clear this number at home, especially since he played over 40 minutes in Game 2. With Grayson Allen questionable and the series on the line, the Suns may roll with their Big 3 all for huge minutes tonight.

That should help Beal get back to six assists on Friday.

Anthony Edwards OVER 35.5 points, rebounds and assists

Anthony Edwards has stuffed the stat sheet against the Suns, and I think the Minnesota Timberwolves star could be due for a bounce-back game after he shot just 3-for-12 from the field in Game 2.

Edwards is averaging seven rebounds and seven assists per game in the playoffs, a terrific floor for him to reach this projection of 35.5 points, rebounds, and assists.

In Game 1, Ant-Man had 48 PRA before posting 28 in Game 2 despite scoring just 15 points. If he can get back into the 20s scoring-wise, I think he’s a lock to clear this number.

Devin Booker UNDER 4.5 rebounds

Oddsmakers keep setting Devin Booker’s rebounds prop at 4.5, and I’m going to keep fading it.

Booker is averaging just 2.5 rebounds per game in this series after putting up 4.5 per game in the regular season, and he’s also been under this number consistently dating back to the regular season.

From March 29 to the end of the regular season (nine games), Booker averaged 2.8 rebounds per game, failing to clear this prop even once. I can’t trust him here against one of the better-rebounding squads in the NBA.
