Tuesday night’s NBA action closes out with a nationally televised matchup between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets, but all the stars won’t be in action tonight.

Devin Booker (ankle) will miss this game for Phoenix, which has led to the Suns being placed as massive underdogs in this game.

While this may look like a disadvantage from a betting perspective, I do think Booker’s injury opens up some intriguing options for the Suns in the prop betting market.

Plus, there is a props for Nuggets big man Nikola Jokic that is worth considering on Tuesday as well.

Let’s break down these three picks:

Suns vs. Nuggets best NBA prop bets

  • Bradley Beal OVER 27.5 points, rebounds and assists
  • Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 rebounds
  • Kevin Durant OVER 27.5 points

Bradley Beal OVER 27.5 points, rebounds and assists

So far this season, Bradley Beal is averaging 22.6 points, 4.8 assists, and 4.2 rebounds in five games without Booker in the lineup – including a 31-point game against Oklahoma City in his last outing.

Beal has cleared this prop in all four of the games in which he played 30 or more minutes, and he played 34 minutes on Sunday against OKC despite Frank Vogel saying he may be on a minutes restriction.

Overall this season, Beal is averaging 18.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game (27.0 PRA). He should see an uptick in usage without Booker, as he’s attempted 17 or more shots in three of the five games without him this season.

I love this prop for Beal on Tuesday.

Nikola Jokic OVER 12.5 rebounds

This may seem like a high number for Nikola Jokic, but there’s a chance that the Suns don’t have center Jusuf Nurkic (questionable) in this game.

In the first meeting between these teams, Jokic swallowed up 16 rebounds, and he’s averaging 12.2 boards per game on the season, so he’s certainly capable of clearing this prop. Plus, in his last 16 games Jokic is averaging 13.1 rebounds per game – clearing this prop nine different times.

Kevin Durant OVER 27.5 points

There is a lot of similar thinking in this prop for Kevin Durant with Booker out that I have in the Beal play.

Durant has averaged 30.5 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.7 assists in 11 games without Booker this season, clearing 27.5 points in seven of those matchups.

While he had a down scoring game against OKC, I expect Durant – who is averaging 27.8 points per game on the season – to bounce back here.

KD has been crazy efficient, shooting 52.8 percent from the field and 42.1 percent from 3, so he should soar past this number with some increased usage.
