The Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans are playing easily the game of the night in the NBA on Monday, so why not dive into some prop bets to place to make this matchup even more exciting?

There is a ton of star power in this matchup – even with Brandon Ingram out – and there are three All-Star caliber players that I’m targeting in this one.

With Phoenix sitting two games back of the Pelicans for the No. 6 seed in the West, which players will step up in such a crucial game?

Here are my favorite player prop plays for April 1:

Suns vs. Pelicans best NBA prop bets

  • Devin Booker OVER 36.5 points, rebounds and assists
  • Zion Williamson OVER 26.5 points
  • Kevin Durant OVER 24.5 points

Devin Booker OVER 36.5 points, rebounds and assists

Devin Booker has cleared this prop in six of his last 10 games since returning from injury, averaging 24.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 7.1 assists per game over that stretch.

The Suns guard has been putting up solid assist numbers all season, and I think he could be due for some positive regression in scoring the ball after scoring 17 and 14 points in his last two games 5-for-17 and 4-for-9 from the field in those matchups).

New Orleans is a solid defensive team, ranking in the top 10 in defensive rating this season, but Booker torched them for 52 points in a game earlier this season. Don’t be shocked if he clears this PRA number on Monday.

Zion Williamson OVER 26.5 points

With Brandon Ingram out, the offense for New Orleans is running through former No. 1 overall pick Zion Williamson.

Over his last four games, Williamson is averaging 29.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game while shooting over 65 percent from the field.

He’s also taken at least 14 shots in every game but one since March 8. I like that volume for the Pelicans forward, and he should stay hovering around 25-30 points with this increased usage.

Kevin Durant OVER 24.5 points

Durant has been playing at a high level, scoring 25 or more points in each of his last four games, and I expect that to continue as the season goes on.

KD saw some down-scoring games in March, but he’s still averaging 27.6 points per game for the Suns while shooting 53.0 percent from the field and 42.5 percent from 3.

Durant’s points prop has dropped into the low to mid-20s as of late, but he’s smashed it in four straight games. I think he will do it again on Monday.
